Our Conversions
Northstar Conversion has come a long way since founder Adam first designed the Mazda Bongo 'Outback' Rear Conversion in his home workshop all those years ago! Always thriving to evolve & better his designs for conversions, he worked alongside his loyal customers to progress those early innovations and eventually become the market leader in his field. If you happened to visit Northstar in these early days, you may have heard a phrase that has become a mantra of sorts for the company - Treat people the way you want to be treated yourself!
20 years on from those early designs, and 10 years into our history, we've honed these designs down to a tee, and the most popular of our conversions can be fitted into the Toyota Alphard Series 10 (up to 2008) and Series 20 (from 2008 onward), Nissan Elgrand, Mazda Bongo and Volkswagen Transporter, Ford Transit Custom, Renault Trafic and the like.... but we also love working with customers to produce something special with a bespoke conversion.

Side conversions are the classic campervan layout. A full kitchen consisting of a fridge, hob, sink and ample storage, a side conversion is ideal for the weekend away or for travelling further afield.
